Among these indicators, export performance is a key measure of a country’s economic conditions and international competitiveness. In Iran, exports also play a significant role in promoting economic growth and strengthening international economic relations. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to evaluate Iran’s export performance during the implementation period of the Twenty-Year Vision Document (1404). The study covers the period from 2005 to 2024, and the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model is employed to estimate the export equation. Descriptive analysis indicates that in 2016 (1395), when Iran’s export growth rate reached 27.42%, the country ranked first among the selected regional countries in terms of export growth. Conversely, the lowest export growth rate during the study period was recorded in 2012 (1391), at -20.99%, placing Iran in the fifteenth position among the regional countries. Furthermore, the estimation results based on quarterly data for the period 2005-2023 reveal that Iran’s relatively weak export performance and unfavorable regional ranking were mainly attributable to sharp exchange rate fluctuations, weak economic growth, the sanctions imposed during 2012-2015 and 2018-2021, and the adverse effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Overall, the findings suggest that both macroeconomic instability and external shocks have significantly constrained Iran’s export performance throughout the Vision Document period. بررسی شاخص‌های کلان اقتصادی یکی از مهم‌ترین موضوعات در ارزیابی عملکرد دوره چشم‌انداز است. در این راستا، یکی از شاخص‌های کلیدی در ارزیابی وضعیت اقتصادی هر کشور موضوع صادرات می‌باشد. در ایران نیز این شاخص نقش مهمی در تعیین مسیر رشد اقتصادی و تعاملات بین‌المللی دارد. از این رو، هدف این مقاله بررسی عملکرد صادرات ایران در دوره سند چشم‌انداز بیست‌ساله 1404 است. بازه زمانی تحقیق مربوط به دوره 1384 تا 1403 بوده، و برای برآورد مدل از الگوی توزیع وقفه‌ای خودرگرسیون استفاده شده است. بررسی‌های آماری نشان می‌دهد که در سال 2016 (1395) نرخ رشد صادرات ایران 27.42 درصد بوده، توانسته به جایگاه اول منطقه از لحاظ این شاخص دست یابد. از طرفی، در این دوره بدترین نرخ رشد مذکور نیز مربوط به سال 2012 (1391)، با منفی 20.99 درصد می‌باشد. در این سال جایگاه ایران در بین کشورهای منطقه 15 بوده است. همچنین، نتایج حاصل از تخمین معادله صادرات بر اساس الگوی توزیع وقفه‌ای خودرگرسیون، برای دوره 1384 تا 1402 با تواتر فصلی نشان می‌دهد که؛ علل اصلی جایگاه نامطلوب ایران در بین کشوهای منطقه در حوزه شاخص صادرات و به نوعی عملکرد نامناسب این متغیر تحت تأثیر رشدهای شدید نرخ ارز، عدم رشد اقتصادی، تحریم‌های دوره 1391 تا 1394 و تحریم‌های 1397 تا 1400، بوده است. ضمن آن که ویروس کرونا نیز در عملکرد این شاخص اثر منفی داشته است.
