Moreover trade in goods and services are considered as the most routine and rather vaguest channel for transferring economic fluctuations. Since ECO is one of the main trade cooperation organization in the Middle East, in this paper the attempt was made to study the role of international trade in business cycle correlation among ECO members (excluding Afghanistan) during 1993-2006. The OLS method was applied to test the hypothesis. The results indicate that the international trade had major role in business cycles correlation among ECO members during the period. In addition, two dummy variables of the model, i.e. common border and language had significant role in   business cycles correlation. بررسی ادوارتجاری بین‌المللی و انتقال آن‌ها ازکشوری به کشور دیگر از اهمیت ویژه‌ای درهمکاری بین منطقه‌ای برخوردار است.به علاوه تجارت کالاها وخدمات به عنوان معمول‌ترین وتا حدی مبهم‌ترین کانال انتقال نوسانات اقتصادی قلمداد شده است. دراین مقاله با توجه به نقش مهم سازمان همکاری اقتصادی( اکو) در خاورمیانه و ازآنجاکه مهمترین حیطه فعالیت این سازمان تجارت می‌باشد با استفاده از داده‌های کشورهای عضو(به استثنای افغانستان) و با به کارگیری روش حداقل مربعات معمولی به مطالعه نقش تجارت خارجی درهمبستگی ادوارتجاری اکو در دوره زمانی 2006-1993 پرداخته شده است. نتایج تحقیق نشان می‌دهدکه تجارت در ایجاد همبستگی ادوار تجاری اعضاء اکو نقش مثبت  و معناداری داشته است. به علاوه اثرمتغیرهای مجازی مرز و زبان مشترک برهمبستگی ادوار تجاری مثبت و معنادار بوده است. https://pajooheshnameh.itsr.ir/article_700806_a6ef42f0c212fae4a691bb4c6d0fcf45.pdf
