One of the determinants of participation in global value chains, is the complexity of products. Due to the importance of this issue, in this study, the effect of degree of complexity of products on participation in global value chains for Islamic countries was measured. For this purpose, a panel data covering time series for the period of 2018-2008 for 56 Islamic countries (including Iran) was developed. Then the factors affecting participation in global value chains were examined using the generalized and the ordinary least squares method. According to the study, the complexity of Iranian products has increased significantly in the recent years, compared to the other countries. The significance of effect of product complexity index and technology absorption index on participation of Iran and Islamic countries in global value chains was statistically confirmed. Thus, one of the proposed policies for economic development and growth is to enter the global value chains by increasing the complexity of products and absorbing technology. It should be noted that no study has been conducted on this issue in Iran and this study for the first time has discussed the effect of export complexity on the participation of Islamic countries and Iran in global value chains.}, keywords = {Global Value Chain / Product Complexity / Islamic Countries / Iran}, title_fa = {پیچیدگی محصول و مشارکت در زنجیره ارزش جهانی مطالعه موردی: ایران و کشورهای سازمان همکاری اسلامی}, abstract_fa = {در دنیای رقابتی امروز، یکی از مسیرهای دستیابی به رشد اقتصادی بالاتر ورود به زنجیره‌های ارزش جهانی بوده که یکی از عوامل مؤثر بر مشارکت زنجیره‌های ارزش جهانی، افزایش پیچیدگی محصولات است. بررسی میزان پیچیدگی محصولات بر مشارکت در زنجیره‌های ارزش جهانی در کشورهای سازمان همکاری اسلامی (OIC) در چارچوب مدل گشتاورهای تعمیم‌یافته از اهداف اصلی این مقاله است. برای برآورد مدل از داده‌های تابلویی و سری زمانی برای سال‌های 2018-2008 نمونه‌ای از 56 کشور اسلامی به روش گشتاورهای تعمیم‌یافته و حداقل مربعات معمولی استفاده شده است. نتایج نشان می‌دهد «افزایش پیچیدگی محصولات» در کشورهای اسلامی باعث افزایش مشارکت این کشورها در زنجیره‌های ارزش جهانی می‌شوند. همچنین «شاخص جذب فناوری» و «سهم هزینه‌های تحقیق و توسعه» نیز بر مشارکت در زنجیره‌های ارزش جهانی مورد تأیید آماری قرار گرفت. لذا با اتکا به ظرفیت‌های موجود و نتایج تحقیق پیشنهاد می‌شود کشورهای مورد مطالعه ضمن در اولویت قرار دادن برنامه‌های خود جهت افزایش مشارکت در زنجیره‌های ارزش جهانی، جهت تثبیت در زنجیره‌های ارزش جهانی توجه به پیچیدگی و توسعه محصول (تنوع در محصول و ارتقای کیفیت)، جذب فناوری و رقابت‌پذیری، ارتقای همکاری‌های افقی و عمودی برای توسعه فناوری، ایجاد شبکه تبادل فناوری، ارتقای فعالیت‌های تحقیق و توسعه از طریق انسجام‌بخشی سیاست‌های صنعتی- تجاری، فراهم کردن بسترهای لازم در راستای بهبود سیاست‌های توسعه سرمایه انسانی و توسعه سرمایه‌گذاری نیز در دستور کار قرار گیرد.}, keywords_fa = {زنجیره ارزش جهانی / پیچیدگی محصولات / کشورهای اسلامی / ایران}, url = {https://pajooheshnameh.itsr.ir/article_254150.html}, eprint = {https://pajooheshnameh.itsr.ir/article_254150_252f838ac0e5affbd36518e8926e2ef1.pdf} }
